Objectives of the Position
- Continue effort to strengthen safety and 5S awareness and execution; Ensure Zero LTI, occupational disease, loss of containment, and exceeding environmental regulation limit;
- Conduct experimental and theoretical research assignments under guidance of a senior chemist supporting the development of novel technologies in the field of exhaust after treatment catalysts
Main Tasks
- Responsible for the implementation of EHS risk control measures in the process of R&D experiment related activities, to ensure the lab operation meet local and company EHS requirements
- Under supervision of a lab team leader perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment.
- Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports, examinations and summaries.
- Prepare, run and maintain lab equipment such as reactors, analyzing equipment, etc.
- Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab house-keeping) as assigned.
- Comply with regulations concerning safety, health and environment.
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- Education: Bachelor in Chemistry/Chemical engineering
- Working Experience: None
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: (Please be measurable and specific)
- Good oral English
- Solid and detailed-oriented work attitude; Goal-oriented team player with good communication skills
- Good Capability of understanding 5 core tools is a plus
