The Job at Hand
You will be part of a project related to Private/Business Aviation, working on applications used by thousands of pilots daily. You will be responsible for specifying the features that will help transform the way these pilots work, collaborating with some of the biggest players in the aviation industry!
Expected Functions / Key Results:
- Act as the customer proxy responsible for working with external Product Management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize stories in the team backlog.
- Conduct interviews to gather the customer's expectations via workshops, surveys, site visits and other methods.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the project team.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Review the business requirements with Product Management to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Work with UX/UI and technical teams to help define product or feature prototypes.
- Participate in all team meetings as well as helping the team during the discovery and development cycles.
- Report development plans and progress to clients.
- Responsible for estimating the testing effort required in stories or epics before grooming.
You're the perfect fit for the role if…
Before we start talking about Epics, User Stories or product plans, we expect you to be a team player and improvement seeker with a never-ending learning attitude.
- At least 3+ years of product owner experience
- Experience doing business analysis, requirements gathering, software testing, or support.
- Technical writing.
- Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Good communication & management skills.
- Strong oral and written skills in English.
- SCPO (Scrum Certified Product Owner), Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence are considered a plus.

What can you expect from our hiring process?
1st step: Phone call with our Talent Acquisition team
During this first phone call, we want to meet you and understand your expectations in terms of your career plan, and what motivates you, and give you an overview of the role and Nuvolar's work environment.
2nd step: Technical Interview
A technical discussion to better understand your skills and an introduction to the team members to give you a better idea of Nuvolar's team culture and to meet some potential future colleagues. You will do a technical role-playing exercise.
3rd step: Cultural fit interview
If the first phone call goes well, it's time for a face-to-face meeting (online) so we can meet each other and lay out everything we can offer you and what you can bring to our Nuvofamily so that we can succeed together! If we're on the same page, we move straight to the last step.
