Then you could be our new Business Unit Lead, Vaccines. You will report to the Managing Director and be an integral part of the Norwegian Leadership team.
The position
- As a Business Unit Lead, you will be responsible for maximizing the potential for the Vaccines Business Unit in Norway.
- You will develop and execute the Strategic and Financial plans for your Business Unit. You will engage and lead a team of cross-functional professionals to deliver the business strategy and drive success and value for our patients, customers and Company. Your responsibilities will be diverse and include strategy, driving execution, financial planning and leadership.
- You will manage the sales strategy and be responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales targets within the Business Unit products. As a leader you will ensure effective shaping and proper agile implementation of communication strategies and promotional operations through existing and new channels.
- You will establish and maintain relationships with external opinion leaders, National stakeholders, and others, which are of importance of the Business Unit.
- In terms of the marketing strategy you will oversee development of the business plans based on corporate, regional and local market requirements. Leveraging L3 and utilizing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will identify new business opportunities / threats and develop innovative business approaches to ensure continuous business growth.
- You will also ensure excellent collaboration between Marketing and specialist functions (Market Access, Policy, Medical Affairs) within the standards of the company in order to achieve business objectives and provide rapid response to market opportunities and threats.
- You will pro-actively develop and deploy competences in your team to match developments in the external environment hereby creating an empowered and high performing team.
- You will be a member of the Norwegian core leadership team (LT) and extended leadership team (ELT).
Education and Experience:
- 5 years in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
- Languages required: Fluency in English
- Proven experience in Brand management including digital capabilities
- Experience within Vaccines preferred
- Exhibiting vision with demonstrated energy and passion, with the ability to enthuse and motivate others around a goal and inspire trust in their team
- Working with the highest standards of business ethics and demonstrating personal commitment to the goals of the organization
- Customer focused thinking and entrepreneurial mentality; willingness to take business risks
